Education Review Office Report May 2011

Operating hours

Our centres hours of operation are 7.30am-5.30pm Monday to Friday.  Early Impressions Learning Centre offers the following opportunities for children to attend

  • Full- time full day 7.30am-5.30pm
  • 6 hour day  9.00-3.00 for children under 3 yrs

To give your child the full benefits of our centre's programme and to allow for the continuity of their week we suggest they attend at least twice a week.

Fees

A schedule of fees is available from the centre when you come in and have a look around.

Early Impressions offers 20 hours ECE for 3 and 4 year olds reducing the weekly fee for this age group.

Funding rates for 20 hours ECE have been calculated to cover a minimum standard of care and education. Early Impressions Learning centre offers a quality service well above minimum standards and our fees reflect a  chargeable portion for each  6 hour day.

If you would like further information on 20 hours ECE, we are happy to discuss this with you.

Work and Income Childcare Subsidy

Meals

All our meals are prepared daily at the Centre by our cook.  Careful attention has been given to providing a balanced nutritional diet that your child will enjoy.  Fresh fruit or vegetables will form part of every meal and drinking water will be available at all times.  By preparing meals at the centre we hope to provide opportunities for children to learn about food and nutrition and why it is important to their health. Allergies, food intolerances and special dietary requirements are a shared responsibility of children’s family and the centre.  If your child has special dietary requirements please talk with a staff member so that these can be accommodated.  Due to the severity of peanut allergies our centre is a NUT FREE ZONE.
